I keep getting tooth pain and my enamel is wearing but i am doing everything right, how can this be? personalized candy

I keep having tooth pain and my enamel is wearing down, but i brush, floss, and rinse with fluoride after each meal. I rarely drink pop, and i dont eat candy, help!.

Answer by lolly
acidic food will also do it…tomatos, citrus, etc

Answer by PenPress
Food with too much vinegar causes it too.

Chewing hard food (even too much broccoli, etc) or ice can cause loss of enamel too.

You may also encounter the same problem if you grind you teeth:

You know how each decade is remembered for something? After thinking about the 00s and pop culture I came up with: Emo kids, candy rap music, Harry Potter, Twilight, and different styles from other eras. What is it going to be for teenagers and young adults in the 2010s?
@Sophie: Well thank god for that!

Well, we’re less than two years in, so who knows what the next eight years will bring?

Task: “Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way.”

My essay:
A person who has been of significant influence for me has been the Hungarian Romantic composer and pianist Franz Liszt. The sheer creativity and “ivory-shredding virtuosity” displayed in the life and music of this composer has motivated me to perfect the craft of pianism and composition.
As a classical pianist, I find myself constantly desiring technical and musical perfection, something which can only be achieved through painstaking hours of practice. A distinctive feature of Liszt’s music is the emphasis of the bravura, often times showcasing florid passages of pyrotechnics. Embarking upon the task of learning difficult Liszt compositions such as the Grand Chromatic Galop serve as a major incentive to heighten my technical ability. The fact that Liszt’s contemporaries described him as having an inhumane command of pianistic abilities simply increases my appetite to learn his music.
As a composer, I have composed a 76 page composition entitled Grand Symphonic Fantasy written for wind orchestra and piano. This piece contains a copious amount of Lisztian influence. For example, Liszt’s innovative feature of incorporating interlocking octaves is conspicuously heard in the final theme of my piece. Moreover, Lisztian flair can be found in arrangements that I perform during the Holiday season. For instance, my version of Franz Gruber’s popular tune entitled Silent Night contain compositional features which are derived directly from Liszt’s music. This rendition favors well with audiences, thus increasing my self esteem as a pianist.
Sublime passage work found in Liszt’s obscure Berceuse inspire me to successfully learn and communicate works like this to audiences. Lisztian aesthetics synthesize an eclectic range of Romantic and early impressionistic idioms. In essence, these aesthetics have totally changed my perception of classical music. At first I interpreted mainstream classical music(Bach Beethoven Mozart) as mere “ear candy.” Upon listening to the transcribed music by Franz Liszt, I have began to listen to and play classical music with a new perception. This transformation has allowed me to perceive even the most blandest of Mozart compositions as programmatic. This transformative power of Liszt’s music has also given me new-found sensibilities that enhance my appreciation for even the most primitive classical music.
Outside of the realm of classical music, the music of Franz Liszt has allowed me to recognize intervalic relationships in other genres of music. More specifically, I have developed a keen ear for detecting augmented fifths within motifs of even the most distant of genres such as in American “Pop” music.
The fact that Liszt’s musical influence extends far beyond the sphere of classical music and well into 21st century American popular music reveals an important truth to me. Basically this truth is that innovative contributions will almost always extend beyond the first category that they exist in. As a prospective science student at Princeton University, I hope that my innovations within whatever field of science that I pursue, will greatly contribute to other fields of science and engineering. This I believe will increase humanity’s understanding of the universe, and humanity’s ability to implement that knowledge.

Answer by frog
As you seem to have applied for a Science course rather than a musical one, I feel it over-done, though brilliantly written, the effect that Liszt has on you.

This does not sit well with your choice of course.

Perhaps you should consider re-doing the essay, as opposed to re-selecting the course.

Answer by San Diego English Tutoring
I think the subject matter is probably okay (in fact if done right it’s awesome), but I’m not sure you’ve answered clearly and specifically the question of how Liszt has “influenced YOU in a significant way.”

For example, take a look at this part:

“these aesthetics have totally changed my perception of classical music”

You need to make the case that Liszt’s work has changed YOU and made you a stronger candidate for engineering school.

I am 13 years old, and i dont have “fat” on my stomach, and i dont eat really junky. i play a lot of sports and i dont eat a lot of meat, i only have high sugar candy like once a month. sorry, but it’s not very possible that it is simply muscle. muscle does not really grow out that way. but to make it flat, you need to train in that area. do stomach exercises, such as sit ups, and try to maintain healthy diet. other than that, really nothing else. only way i know how is exercise.

Gargling a few drops of Oregano Oil would work a lot better. You can find this at any natural food store.

Answer by missmary
if it is worse in the morning, like burning, but gradually becomes more tolerable throughout the day then my guess would be post nasal drip..but just to be sure you should see a doctor.

Answer by danceislife16
it could be post nasal drip. like flem or mucus running down the back of your throat. garggle water. i have the same problem as you like 4 days a week. i tolerate it.

I really am not going to structure much. On this night Disney Channel is having spooky shows so that will be good and they’ll do make up and stuff.

As far as food. I am having hot dogs, chips and pop for a late supper and then cake and ice cream about 8:00.

For later I am making a snack mix of popcorn, candy corn, M&M’s and peanuts.

Do you think that is enough food. I really do not want them bouncing off the walls or getting sick.

Answer by Tresa R
I think that’s fine. Expect lots of giggling and don’t make them go to bed. part of the fun of a sleepover is getting to stay up super-late. And hopefully, they will sleep in more in the morning! Keep an eye and an ear out but don’t interfere with it either. You are a great parent for doing a sleepover. I’m trying to lose 15-20# since giving birth. I eat mainly chicken, pork and beef, grilled or baked. Sides are usually a carbohydrate, potato, rice, pasta. Any suggestions for healthier sides? I drink green tea, flavored water and 1 pop a day. Breakfast is usually skipped because I am in a hurry. I find myself craving sweets more, chips and candy bars.Is there a healthy sweet snack out there? Also, what can I eat between meals, keep in mind I’m at work and it needs to be finger foods.
Thanks for your help.

Answer by lala
well to answer your question about healthy sweet snacks…there are lots of things in walmart such as slimfast or other dietary brands. They come in bars or whatever…and they have chocolate or other sweet things. Ummh…your question about what can you eat between meals…definitely fruit…maybe an apple, grapes, anything of that nature. And sides think of a salad good, and nutritious.
Hope my advice helped. Good Luck!

Answer by doubat903
If I may make a couple suggestions for your diet that helped me lose a ton of weight.

one do NOT skip breakfast, your body is starving after a night of rest and if you do not eat breakfast it wont burn fat it will actually start eating your muscle

second if you find time that you cant make yourself breakfast and you really are in a hurry grab an apple or something because you need something in your stomach, preferably something high in fiber to fill you up and not slow down your metabolism, because if you starve yourself the body goes into slow burning mode because it thinks theres say a famine going on

third for say a lunch stick to a nice and simple sandwhich like turkey with a healthy bread, I use wheat, white bread has more sugar, and wheat tends to be healthier for you, and have some carrots or celary or some kind of fruit as a side

fourth if you want to continue having beef try to limit it, mostly because of the fat content, same goes with beef, try going with grilled chicken or fish for your meats they’re high in protein and low in fat

fifth in terms of healthier sides for dinner you can’t really go wrong, theres plenty of veggies, find some that you like and fill it up, and a tip to fill yourself up so you don’t get hungry later is make your meat the side dish and the veggies the main meal

sixth if you really are craving something sweet (we all do) try picking up some sugar free jello cups they’re only 10 calories, they’re sweet, good tasting, and tend to kill or at least kick it down to a controllable level if you’re having a real sugar jones

seventh for between meals a serving of fruit is usually recommended like some grapes, an orange, or an apple for some examples

Answer by Alinabeelali
There’s never enough time in the workday, is there? And one of the ways many of us try to save a little time is by eating snacks (and even our lunches) at our desks. Come on, you know you do it!

Some of us feel that we can’t even spare the few minutes it takes to walk to the cafeteria or down the street and buy a snack. When we do take time to eat, some of us can be seen sneaking bites in between checking email, shuffling papers, and answering the phone.

Aside from the fact that it’s good for mind, body, and soul to work breaks into the workday, this desktop dining habit is a potential health disaster, according to nutrition experts. Here’s why:

When people snack at their desks, they tend to eat fast and furiously. And if you eat fast, you’re more likely to eat more than you need.
When you eat while trying to work, it’s likely to be “mindless eating.” Your body is going through the motions, but your brain isn’t fully aware you’re eating. Again, this can lead to taking in more calories than your body really needs.
Studies have shown that when we snack because of stress or boredom (not out of hunger), the calories we consume tend to be “extra” calories. In other words, we don’t compensate by eating less at the next meal or by waiting longer until the next meal. For example, a recent French study found that when lean young men were fed either a high-protein or high-carbohydrate snack 215 minutes after lunch, they ate about the same number of calories at dinner as they did on days when they didn’t have an afternoon snack.
So how do you overcome these pitfalls? One answer is to put aside your work for those few minutes you’re eating and take time to really enjoy your food (plus, you won’t risk getting crumbs all over that important report you’re working on). Another is to make sure you choose healthy workplace snacks composed of foods you should fit into your daily diet anyway (things like fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, and yogurt).

It’s also important to seek balance in your snacks — and to remember that snack calories do count.

Katherine Tallmadge, a registered dietitian and spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association, tells her clients to snack up to three times a day but to limit calories to 100-200 calories for each snack.

“I like to recommend snacks that provide a little carbohydrate, protein, and a small amount of fat, if any,” she says.

That’s not so easy to do if you’re at the mercy of your workplace vending machines or snack shops. Most offer mostly high-sugar, high-fat snacks with little nutritional value. And few meet Tallmadge’s snack guideline of 200 calories or less. For example, typical offerings include potato chips, with 303 calories and 19.6 fat grams in a 2-ounce bag; and chocolate chip cookies, with 277 calories and 16 fat grams in a 2-ounce package.

We deliver candy to people who got it sent to them and we sing in front of the classes at my high school as well.

I know a lady who feeds her son all JUNK and he will be four next month and weighs 60lbs. Is that healthy? candy bouquet

She feeds him about a six pack of pop a day, cake, cupcakes, all sorts of candy, cookies, you name the junk and he gets it. He weighs 60lbs. Is that unhealthy?

Answer by Liz
I’d make an anonymous call to the local CPS office (Child Protective Services in your area). If he’s obese due to her unhealthy feeding habits, this IS considered child abuse.

Answer by leah c
Obviously if he’s eating that shit all the time then no.
Plus I would think 60 lbs would make him look pretty chubby.

Did you know you can actually call child protective services on parents feeding their kids crap? They look at is a form of abuse. They won’t take the child away but get them some parenting/nutritional classes and follow up on his weight with a doctor. Of course that’s ideal. In reality they’re going to ignore your phone call because they are too understaffed and would rather spend the time and effort on the children in extremely scary situations.

Answer by Ms.Medium
No, of course it’s not healthy. He’s obviously overweight as well.

Answer by Blue D
Hell yeah! A thief is a thief is a thief. And 12 years old is old enough to know what stealing is and that there are consequences. Maybe he should only be arrested for stealing a TV? Where do you draw the line? 29 cents? $ 1.78? Maybe $ 8.52.

Do the crime? Do the time.

Answer by vladoviking
Does he have prior arrests for similar activity this could be the reason the cops want to keep going.

so ive made cake pops a couple of times using wiltons chocolate melts but is there any other candy/chocolate coating that i could use? ive used herseys chocolate chips and bars b4 for other purposes but the seem to melt faster unlike the wiltons melts.

Answer by Megan
you could also use bark chocolate (also called confectionary coating or almond bark). it tends to melt smoothly and coat evenly and thinly. it’s not real chocolate, but it tastes pretty good. or you could go the difficult route and temper some chocolate, but that’s a pain in the butt and not worth it for cake pops!

Answer by springfild
you could make a soft butterscotch and do a dip let Carmel set dip repeat until fully coated with a 1/8 in. of butterscotch.

why does my vagina itches when i drink or eat too much sweet stuff? pop candy

Answer by Cassi
no, its a yeast infection. cut down on the sweets and it’ll go away. also, ask a doctor. or google it.

Firstly, Diabetes is nothing like that, ahahah

Secondly, You may have a Yeast Infection, And the Sweet foods just Initiate the Problem.
So, see a doctor.

Lastly, Eating all of that is not healthy, For you, and for any man you might decide to date.
So, Start running and take a shower , Good god.

Answer by Jbutter
more than likely its not diabetes…you probably have a yeast infection. sugar feeds yeast so ur serving up dinner to the yeast that is in ur vagina so they can grow big and strong….which is bad.

yeast infections are common though and usually very easy to treat. see ur doctor so he can give u a prescription or if u dont want to go to the doctor try eating yogurt a day and some of the over the counter creams like monistat.
